Those Palestinian casualty figures

Approximately 3,000 Palestinians and 1000 Israelis have been killed over the past 5 years.

But when you compare how many of them were civilians and how many were armed or soldiers you find that 70% of all Israeli casualties were civilians and approx 70% of Palestinian casualties were combatants

Those 3,000 include suicide bombers, the hundreds of Palestinians who have been killed by other Palestinians for being alleged collaborators with Israel as well as Palestinians killed in ‘work accidents’ (i.e., a rocket factory explodes or a bomb explodes in people’s faces).

In addition, if any of the hundreds of attempted bombings that were stopped would have got through, Israeli casualties would have been even higher. Israel should not have to apologise for the efficiency of its Security forces.

Of course, in a conflict people should not decide who is right by how many people have been killed. If we did that then Germany was the victim of the second world war.
